I first started training with Hayley in 2013 with an initial goal of losing some weight and toning up so I could look my best on my wedding day four months later. I had always been active and used to attend various classes at the gym, but I never really enjoyed using the actual gym and I confess just ‘played’ at healthy eating.
I was really happy with the results I achieved and fitted into my size 8 wedding dress comfortably having lost cms off my key target areas and losing over 1.5 kilograms.
Following my wedding, thinking I had reached my goal I ceased the personal training. I unfortunately found myself slipping into my old bad habits quite quickly and I missed the training sessions and the support Hayley provided with nutrition and wellbeing and I was certainly noticing a difference in my body with less muscle definition so after a few months I returned to my training with Hayley and I will never look back.
The focus of my training switched to strength development and I found this way of training very rewarding and I have achieved more than I’d ever dreamed possible. Weight training has transformed my body and I’m now in the best shape of my life and fitter than I’ve ever been before. Hayley has also helped identify tightness and weakness in various muscles and having that additional focus helped improve my training. Training in this way had a positive effect on the scales too, without any real effort. My cardiovascular and yoga practice has also improved as a result of the strength training. Each week I achieved a little bit more, maybe a bit more weight on the bar or an extra rep, but these all had a positive impact on my mind, which Hayley has also worked really hard with me on improving my own self body image.

I’ve never had a very good relationship with food and now I’m living a healthy, active life thanks to the education and support Hayley provides with nutrition and positive mindset. One of the things I love the most is that Hayley promotes that everything should be a way of life and not strict diets. Hayley cares and wants you to succeed at whatever goal you have. Hayley is a constant support and I would recommend personal training with Hayley to everyone whatever age or whatever your goal. Hayley will listen and constantly find ways to help you achieve success.

I can honestly say that Hayley has transformed my life. Unfortunately at the end of 2015 (and purely for personal reasons) I ceased my sessions with Hayley, but that healthy, active life I found working with Hayley really has now become my way of life and my strength training continues and she’s still on hand to offer help, encouragement and advice and she does so because she cares. Thank you Hayley, I’ll be forever grateful!
