This is a great little fat burning circuit that I did on my recent weekend break in Dubrovnik.
Most hotel gyms are not brilliantly equipped with weights so it helps to have something you can do with just a few dumbells.
Of course you could do this in the gym at any time too, not just on holiday – it’s a really good intense workout and a lot more effective and time-efficient than plodding away on a cardio machine for 45 minutes 🙂
The video shows one full circuit in real time so you can get an idea of speed and technique. Here’s a list of the exercises:
Lunge shoulder press x 10
Side lunge row x 10
Press ups x 8 – 10 (can do these elevated)
Goblet squat x 10
I did this 5 times and it took about 2 minutes per circuit with a 1-2 minute rest.
3 – 5 circuits is a good amount for a session.
