RECIPE: Protein Chocolate Brownies

Protein brownies

I love a good baking session, although my problem is that I then tend to eat half the mixture and half of whatever I’ve made…

Still, these were really tasty and super easy to do.

A great recipe to make with kids too, as a couple of my clients have already found out. No refined sugar, MUCH healthier, and so far all the kids who’ve tried them have loved them. Big win!

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients

– 2 bananas
– 1 small jar apple and blueberry puree (in the baby food aisle in sainsburys but any small jar of baby food apple puree will do)
– 2 scoops chocolate brownie protein powder (or just chocolate protein powder)
– 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder
– 30-40g dark chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 190C.
Blend everything together except the chocolate chips.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Pour into a small loaf tin lined with baking powder.
Bake for around 15 minutes.

Cut into 8 pieces.

Enjoy!
