#155 – How to Reduce Joint Aches and Pains

Aches and pains in the joints – particularly in the shoulders, hips and knees – are very common, especially around perimenopause.

In this episode we talk about what can help, including:

  • Nutrition – healthy fats, omega 3, variety of fruit and veg
  • Hydration
  • Sleep
  • Working on posture and alignment
  • How to do an effective warm up before running or lifting weights
  • Exercises to even out imbalances
  • Simple exercises to strengthen key muscles
  • Useful stretches
